Payment Terms
100% payment required confirming the bookings for tour itinerary, hotels, visa application and transportations (this is mandated by TCB)
Your payment is fully secured as it goes directly to the visa issuing agency (Tourism Council of Bhutan- TCB), which is a government organization. The TCB will fully monitor the amount that you send us, so this gives you full secure of the amount you sending us, in fact we do not receive the amount into our own account until you left Bhutan, to make sure you do not come across any trouble in the duration of your stay here in Bhutan. TCB only will approve your visa after the full payment is received.
100% payment required for the flight tickets before the purchase of tickets

Itinerary/tour program is subject to change depending on the availability of the hotels and your interest

Change of hotels stay can be accepted within seven days from the date of tour confirmation is released

Flexible for day programs, you can choose to do anything you like within the valley

Changing hotels is not possible once confirmed and paid, hotels follow very strict cancellation policy, therefore, in case change of hotel stay after your arrival is on your own expenses

Emergency evacuation by Helicopter is on your own expenses or through your travel insurance.

Emergency services like additional use of vehicles, people engaged and other ground services other than medication are borne by ‘Absolute Happiness Origin Tours to Bhutan’

In case of visiting doctors and treatment in government hospitals in Bhutan are free of cost

All tour programs that are booked and subsequently cancelled shall be subject to cancellation charges as follows:

Change of flight schedule or flight delay policy for Druk Air/Bhutan Airlines
For passengers heading to Bhutan, both the airlines will ensure that you get on the next available flight to Paro. For passengers who miss their flight due to late check-in, passengers can pay Druk Air an admin charge of US$50 to get on the next available flight.
For travelers returning from Bhutan, airline staff at Paro will assist you with all arrangements in case of a flight delay. They will also attempt to contact your connecting flight airline to inform them of a delay. Should you not be able to take your connecting flight on the same day, they will arrange for your accommodation in your transit port.
Any other fees and charges incurred will typically have to be borne by the travellers. You are advised to acquire your own travel insurance.
